Victor Chang

Brief Bio
Prof. Victor Chang is an Associate Professor (Reader), Director of Ph.D. (June 2016 – May 2018) and Director of MRes at International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), Suzhou, China, since June 2016. He is also a very active and contributing key member at Research Institute of Big Data Analytics (RIBDA), XJTLU. He's an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Liverpool and Visiting Researcher at the University of Southampton, UK. Previously he worked as a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University, UK, for 3.5 years. Within 4 years, he completed Ph.D. (CS, South ampton) and PGCert (Higher Education, Fellow, Greenwich) while working for several projects at the same time. Before becoming an academic, he has achieved 97% on average in 27 IT certifications. He won a European Award on Cloud Migration in 2011, IEEE Outstanding Service Award in 2015, best papers in 2012 and 2015, the 2016 European award: Best Project in Research, 2016 SEID Excellent Scholar, Suzhou, China, Outstanding Young Scientist award in 2017, 2017 special award on Data Science, 2017 and 2018 INSTICC Service Awards and numerous awards since 2012. He is a visiting scholar/Ph.D. examiner at several universities, an Editor-in-Chief of IJOCI & OJBD journals, Editor of FGCS, Associate Editor of TII, founding chair of two international workshops and founding Conference Chair of IoTBDS http://www.iotbd.org and COMPLEXIS http://www.complexis.org since Year 2016. He was involved in different projects worth more than £12.5 million in Europe and Asia. He has published 3 books as sole authors and the editor of 2 books on Cloud Computing and related technologies. He gave 16 keynotes at international conferences. He is widely regarded as one of the most active and influential young scientist and expert in IoT/Data Science/Cloud/security/AI/IS, as he has experience to develop 10 different services for multiple disciplines. Dr Mitra Arami is the head of Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt and the head of Startup Center. She obtained her BSc, MSc and PhD in Management Information Systems from Technical University of Vienna. She has more than 25 years record in business and strategic IT consulting, project and programme management and cross-organizational business process integration within telecommunication, IT and oil and gas industry. She has designed several degrees in Higher Education and has extensive experience with international accreditations (EQUIS, FIBAA, AMBA, IPM A, PMI). She has been conference chair in information systems and project management since 2003 and Editor / Reviewer of International Journal of Organizational and Collective Intelligence, Open Journal of Big Data, Independent Journal of Management & Production and Journal of Project Management Research and Practice. She was also involved in design and development of Startup and incubations programs in the Middle East and is currently responsible for Design and delivering courses in field of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Ruijun Bu

Brief Bio
Dr. Ruijun Bu is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Econometrics at The University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS). He has a Bachelor degree in Engineering, a Master degree in Finance and a Ph.D in Economics and Finance. Dr. Bu’s research interests are in the areas of financial econometrics, quantitative finance, and time series analysis. He is particularly interested in non- and semi-parametric methods for modelling nonlinear continuous-time stochastic processes with applications to financial forecasting and derivatives pricing. In 2010, Dr. Bu was a Visiting Research Fellow of the Bendheim Center for Finance at the Princeton University in 2010, and he is the current group leader of the Econometrics and Business Statistics research cluster at ULMS. Dr. Bu has held research grants from British Academy, Leverhulme Trust, ESRC and European Science Foundation, and his publications appear in Journal of Financial Econometrics, International Journal of Forecasting, Journal of Time Series Analysis, Econometrics Journal, Econometric Reviews, Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics, Economic Modelling, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, etc. ... Patricia Baudier

Patricia Baudier prepared her PhD in management science within the Business School of Mines-Télécom Institut in 2013. She is an associate professor of marketing at EM Normandie in Paris (France). Her research focuses on the acceptance of new technologies, innovations, consumers behavior and Digital Marketing. She spent 28 years within major American companies such as Apple and Kodak, mainly at marketing positions. Patricia has authored several papers in leading journals of innovation, management and marketing.
